West Papua & Baliem Valley Adventure

West Papua is the most easterly part of the Indonesian archipelago, and the western part of  New Guinea Island. The eastern half forms the mainland part of Papua New Guinea, an independent country. If you have the time, have a look around – it’s an amazing part of the world. Hiking in the Baliem Valley, sea kayaking along the coast, exploring the mangroves, visiting friendly villages nestled along riverbanks,  or  joining a birdwatching trip, there is so much else to do and see, apart from the Raja Ampat diving

For twitchers we have added a link to the Papua Bird Club website. However, Papua Bird Club not only offers birding trips, but is also extremely experienced in looking after naturalists, biologists, conservationists, photographers, film-makers and other holiday adventurers.

The following all inclusive tour is ideal for visitors who would like to see a little more of  West Papua’s breath-taking beauty. The tour is operated by Asian Trails, the company which has been voted to offer the best, high quality, tours in South East Asia. Dive Travel Indonesia  is proud to be working with Asian Trails to bring you the best local tours available
